Universal resistance tester for bottles, cans, and other packaging

AT2E’s TCT-2 measures the resistance to tear or top-load forces (traction or compression) for all types of packaging. The sample is installed on the support and the force is gradually increased for stretch or top-load testing. The distance between the gauge and the support plate and column can be adjusted on request. The sample will be compressed or torn until a predefined force, or following a testing distance. The value is read on the touchscreen and a report can be printed.
TCT-2 complies with the ISBT voluntary standard test methods for PET bottles. With the user-defined test cycles, it can be used for any in-house standards from customers with different testing requirements.
