The Accurate Magnetic Thickness Gauge (AMTG-2) is designed to measure a variety of non-magnetic materials, including plastics, glass, ceramics, aluminum, titanium, and copper. Its innovative use of the Hall Effect principle ensures precise measurements across different shapes and sizes.
The AMTG-2 operates by placing a steel ball on one side of the material and the probe on the opposite side. The device uses magnetism to align the steel ball directly beneath the probe, allowing the Hall Effect sensor to accurately measure the distance between the probe tip and the steel ball, displaying real-time thickness measurements on its high-resolution touchscreen.
This gauge features a 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen for easy operation, dynamic display modes, min/max mode, value difference function, and user-friendly options like “CYCLE” mode, delayed start, and auto-stop. Additionally, it offers programmable alarms for threshold alerts and password protection to ensure data integrity.
The AMTG-2 has an impressive data storage capacity of up to 9,999 data sets, allowing for comprehensive record-keeping and easy access to historical measurement data for analysis and reporting.
