for stress-testing a bottle through force-consistent impacts

The GBIT Glass Bottle Impact Resistance Tester is an instrument for testing the impact resistance of glass bottles and jars through a pendulum strike on the sample.

Attributes

  • The sample clamp is able to move flexibly in both vertical and horizontal directions, convenient for adjusting the sample’s position.
  • The instrument is designed according to the law of the conservation of energy, ensuring high testing accuracy and reliability.
  • A stable and accurate pendulum able to rotate and release freely.
  • Includes a stainless steel safety shield.
  • User-friendly design for simple operation.
Principle
Based on the law of conservation of energy, the energy when the pendulum impacts the bottle is determined by its potential energy of where it was hung. When the pendulum is hung at a certain angle, its potential energy is corresponds to particular value, and the impact energy on the bottle does too. By using the conversion relationship of the pendulum’s hanging angle and its impact energy of pre-defined energy values, we can release it and observe whether the bottle was damaged or not.
